We use Platform Data to power performance analytics for our clients' Facebook ad campaigns. Specifically, our backend ETL system (built on Airbyte) ingests campaign metadata, ad metrics, and engagement data from Meta APIs - authorized by the client - to synchronize into our secure data warehouse (BigQuery). This raw data is used to generate dashboards and analytics that quantify return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost, and other business performance metrics.

The product we enable for clients is a reporting and insights layer that helps them understand how their paid social campaigns are driving measurable outcomes through the Fermat platform. We do not use the data for ad creation, targeting, redistribution, or any action on behalf of the client other than delivering analytics tied to their own campaigns. All data access is explicitly authorized and confined to assets under the client's control.

SkyBright—built for Fermat Commerce—calls the TikTok Marketing API (campaign, ad-group, ad-level and daily stats) through Airbyte's connector to pull spend, impressions, clicks and attributed conversions into a secure, read-only data lake. We merge this with Shopify order data to compute lifetime ROAS, CAC and repeat-purchase metrics, then surface the results in analytics dashboards visible only to the merchant that connected the TikTok ad account. We store no end-user PII or creatives, never resell or share data, and merchants can revoke access at any time.
